Jason first grabbed the attention of audiences as the charming, ‘can-do’ builder working with Mitch and Mark on The Block 2019. It was the biggest Block ever, and he was the builder who was ahead of the pack with his building know-how, planning and engaging personality. Managing to smile through the ‘challenges’ thrown his way, Jason’s personality and talent shone through, and he became a key part of the season in his own right.

With over 30 years of building experience and the ability to engage an audience, he’s got the perfect balance of knowledge, personality and energy which he applies to projects. Jason continues to run his own family business, Charles Bros Building Contractors, which completes new construction, renovations and commercial fit-outs throughout Melbourne.

Following his Block experience, he was invited back by producers to make guest appearances on The Block, along with being an ambassador for key sponsors.

A father of two sons, he values his family time with his wife and kids, often caddying for the boys to support their passion for golf.
