Lara Lee is a James Beard Award winning chef and food writer of proud Australian and Chinese-Indonesian heritage. She is a regular contributor to Food52, the New York Times, Harper's Bazaar, Food & Wine, Bon Appetit and the Guardian.
She is the author of two award-nominated cookbooks, Coconut & Sambal and A Splash of Soy, which were named one of the best cookbooks of the year.
Her media appearances include regular guest segments on The Today Show on NBC, The Drew Barrymore Show, Saturday Kitchen, The Cook Up, The Splendid Table and BBC Woman's Hour. When she's not cooking, you'll find her changing the world as a leading technologist and speaker in the smart building and sustainable technology space.
